Scope of work

We sweep, reline and cap
chimneys across
Oklahoma City.

A camera runs the full flue before we quote a dime. Soot, glazed creosote, cracked crowns, rusted caps — we clean it, we line it, we seal the top.

Today's Flue 🔦

Every job gets a camera pass. This is what we found and what we fixed today — posted from the truck before we pull out of the driveway.

The whole chimney, firebox to cap

Six things a chimney needs. We do all six in-house, and you watch the camera footage with us before anything gets priced.

Item 01From $189
Chimney Sweeping

Chimney Sweeping

Brush and vacuum the full flue — soot, ash and glazed creosote out of the system without a speck of it landing in your living room.

Item 02From $149
Camera Inspection

Camera Inspection

A camera runs the flue top to bottom and we watch it together. Cracks, gaps and blockages on screen before anyone talks money.

Item 03From $2,400
Stainless Relining

Stainless Relining

A new stainless liner sized to the appliance, run the full height and sealed at both ends. The real fix for a cracked clay flue.

Item 04From $850
Crown Rebuilds

Crown Rebuilds

The concrete slab on top takes the weather first. We cut out the failed crown and form a new one with a proper overhang and drip edge.

Item 05From $310
Caps & Rain Covers

Caps & Rain Covers

Stainless caps with spark screens, sized to the flue. Keeps out rain, squirrels, wasps and the downdraft that stinks up the room in August.

Item 06From $1,200
Masonry & Tuckpointing

Masonry & Tuckpointing

Repointing the stack, rebuilding the top courses, waterproofing the brick so freeze-thaw stops taking the chimney apart a joint at a time.

About Crownseal Chimney
Who's on your roof

Twenty-two winters on Oklahoma rooftops.

Emmett Kestner swept his first chimney in 2003 out of a Ford with a ladder rack and a shop vac borrowed from his uncle. The vacuum has changed. The rule hasn't — nothing gets quoted until a camera has been up the flue and you have seen the same picture we have.

Most of what we find isn't dramatic. A cracked crown, a missing cap, and twenty years of creosote nobody ever looked at. Fix those three and a fireplace runs another decade. We sweep the metro from October through March and do the masonry work through the warm months.

Why Crownseal

A chimney is a system, not a hole in the roof

Four reasons the camera comes out before the brush does.

01

You see the footage

The camera goes up before the quote. You watch it on the tablet with us, standing in your own living room.

02

No soot in the house

Drop cloths, a negative-pressure vacuum and boot covers. The room looks exactly the way we found it.

03

We fix the top too

Crowns, caps and repointing done by the same crew, so nobody has to send a second truck in the spring.

04

Booked before the cold

Fall fills up fast. Get on the list in September and the fireplace is ready the first week it turns.
